He has completed his second round. He ended up even par for the second round and a 3 under par after 2 rounds.

Currently he is tied for 27th place. The projected cut is at even par, so he should play this weekend. He is currently the only amateur above the projected cut line. If that doesn’t change, he would be low amateur for the tournament. (He will still be in good position even if another amateur makes the cut.) My understanding is that having the low amateur score will earn a trip to Butler Cabin for an award on Sunday.
