Re: CJS sends unprofessional Twitter message to fan

I wonder if AD CSL knows that her basketball coach is sending unprofessional messages on Twitter to fans.

CJS sends unprofessional Twitter message to fan

A fan on Twitter sent Stackhouse a Twitter message after the Grambling loss critical of him. Stackhouse sent back an unprofessional response saying he had a “memory like an owl” (whatever that means) and called the fan a “fake a$$ fan.” CJS should have left it alone and ignored it. You don’t want to...

What’s the difference between the offensive systems of Kiffin, Heuppel and Freeze?

I have wondered, what are the basic differences between the Lane Kiffin system, the Josh Heupel system and the Hugh Freeze systems? All spread the field. All have no huddles. All are designed to make the defensive players cover receivers one-on-one and good receivers will win one-on-one matchups all...

Re: Hugh Freeze to be named Auburn's next coach

He got Ole Miss in trouble with the NCAA and they had sanctions against them. But the Ole Miss fans and athletic department didn’t have a problem with that. They were going to let him keep his job despite the sanctions. Until they investigated all the calls he made on his work phone and found out he...

Re: Kiffin staying at Ole Miss

Kiffin does the same thing every season. He starts out 6-0 against nonconference teams and lesser SEC opponents, then he loses to Bama and LSU and someone else unexpectedly beats him (this year it was Arkansas, that was a shocker). Then he winds up 9-3 or 8-4. Every single year they start out strong...

Re: Halftime: New Mexico State 28-7 over Liberty

Rattler has looked terrible in the Clemson game. He’s thrown two interceptions, one was a pick six and one was in the end zone killing a drive.

You know UT fans are watching that game and are upset that he didn’t play that way against UT.

Re: OT: Why does the Egg Bowl

Will it be Kiffin’s last game as Ole Miss’ coach? I don’t think Auburn would be any better than Ole Miss. You’re still in the SEC West and have to play Alabama and LSU every year, two teams Kiffin hasn’t beaten much at Ole Miss. But I think the fan base at Auburn is more rabid and impatient and will...

Re: Tennessee: "Jeremy Pruitt decieved us"

He big time cheated but he never won much of anything as coach.

If you’re going to cheat at least win the SEC the year you cheated.

Like LSU’s basketball coach Will Wade did when he cheated.

Just about every time a coach cheated in the SEC they had something to show for it.

Except for Pruitt.

Re: Hendon Hooker suffers torn ACL, out for the remainder of the season

It’s already given UT fans their convenient excuse for why they lost to South Carolina and why they won’t make the CFP. “If Hendon hadnt gotten injured we would have come back and won that game and we’d be in the CFP.” I’ve seen this on Twitter a bunch of times. That couldn’t be further from the tru...

And Brasnahan’s TD reception when he caught it at the 15 and carried Florida defenders with him into the end zone!

Thoughts on UT game

1. How will last night’s blowout loss affect UT’s psyche? Will they be mad and have further motivation to blow out Vanderbilt or will they be unmotivated because they don’t have anything to play for anymore? 2. I have not doubt we can move the ball on their defense and put points on the board but ou...

Ray Davis huge game!

Florida had the second-best rush defense in the SEC but Ray Davis made their defense look bad! Some of those rushes he was hit in the backfield and spun around in a circle and the Gator defenders missed him and couldn’t tackle him and he was downfield for huge gains!

Amazing effort Ray!

Re: Seriously, what would have happened....

What if CCL had thrown his challenge flag at that point? The refs would have been forced to rewatch the play and would have seen the guy didn’t pick up the first down or go out of bounds therefore the clock should have continued to run and therefore the game was over.

Arrogant Vol Twitter fans before the game

Before the game Vawl Nation on Twitter was making a big deal about TCU and Michigan almost losing to bad teams today. “They don’t deserve to be in the CFP! UT would beat them by 50 points!” Never mind the fact that UT has close games against Florida and Pitt, two lousy teams. I was thinking, I sure ...

Re: SC Hangs 63 on UtK

Maybe they shouldn’t have ran up the score on Missouri last week. A. It gave their players a false sense that they were so good that they could put that many points on the board with little effort, so they didn’t play very hard tonight; B. It gave South Carolina extra motivation. You know Beamer was...

OT: SEC Championship Game is meaningless

If LSU beats Georgia in the SEC Championship Game, all the media is saying that UT and Georgia would get in the CFP and LSU wouldn’t because they have two losses and because UT blew them out. This is absurd. The SEC champion should make it to the CFP even if they have two losses. If not, what’s the ...

Re: Worse call I have ever seen?

The worst calls I remember were in a Vanderbilt-Alabama game in the Woody era. This was early in the season when Vanderbilt was expected to be terrible and Bama was expected to be a Top 10 team again. The game was at Bama. But we played them very close that year. They wound up winning 24-14, scoring...
