Re: Vandy-Alabama A&M thread
whomever is responsible for training / weightlifting should be reassessed. Remember under Mason the trainer believed in "stretching" more than lifting and we were pushed around bigtime. I see us getting pushed around, bigtime, vs Hawaii and now AAM

Re: A little kindness when posting please.
SV# I fought through a brain tumor in 2018 and didn't didn't use it as an excuse to post ridiculousness like the original post in this thread, so I feel no obligation to be nice about his agenda-driven post. First of all, I didnt specifically say it was myself that had the surgeries although would ...

Re: not even 1st 4 out...
Around brain surgery / neuro rehab, yes I have had limited exposure to all the Vandy news this year. Some posters are poor excuses of respectful humans toward others and why posting isnt fun or popular on Vandy sites anymore. regarding last post (Jan 2nd as noted), If anyone thinks Stack had done ev...

Re: not even 1st 4 out...
we had to beat AM to have a chance.. Solid coaching job to finish the year but you cant lose to Grambling and LSU because nor lose by 57 to anyone. We lose so many players this year, hopefully we can get a good big to replace Liam Dude: What team are you following? We lose Liam. We have a lot of go...

Re: My take on the CJS regime
Just not sure if Stack is the one....he seems to be recruiting better but don't see much in the minutes played. Our upperclassmen are not very good other than Robbins. The team also does not seem to be playing a strategic offense. There is some passing and weaving but then it immediately breaks dow...

Re: SC game thread
Stackhouse has recruited how many "pure" shooters? Stackhouse plays what offensive system? If defense and toughness was the mantra of a couch, they sure are getting beat badly in these areas... maybe its because one on one without movement creates team complacency and when recruiting stink...

Re: Stack Post Game radio comments
Much boils down to the fact we have no real shooters(consistent) other than maybe Pippen most nights. We are getting killed by other teams shooting & making 3's when we only make them sparingly. Thomas so far has been throwing up bricks most nights. Yes, he has one game where he hit a few. If h...

Re: SMU?
This team is weak. No shooters(consistent) other than Pippen. Pippen though...turns the ball over a lot. Our emphasis this year appears to be going inside looking for fouls. We are down 14 with 3 min to go we keep driving. Maybe because we have no shooters except Pippen. He is the only one that wou...

Re: Got to love...
hard Getting excited over beating nobodies..... and then losing to most every good team (bad non existing SEC level recruiting + suspect coaching) breeds lackluster support. Vandy MBB isnt much fun anymore since we dont beat anyone of great ranking at home anymore. I should say more but about Vandy ...

Re: Reality Check
Lets be honest and 100% real, Derek Mason took the best Vandy had become in FB and decimated the program!! Mason was the most clueless coach we have ever hired during his initial 4 seasons and yes he improved but my goodness he was provided $$Million$$ personally to be terrible in SEC level recruiti...

Re: New transfer: Jamaine Mann from Gardner-Webb
sure seems like a continuation of signing low end recruiting acceptances that doesnt take much effort from lazy recruiting efforts of a HC! Simply, that is the recruiting of Stackhouse Sadly, I think JS has coaching skills but is not interested in competing in recruiting battles and thus simply just...

Re: NBA & Transfer rules are killing college sports
NBA is basically destroying college BB and is gonna do whatever China tells them to do... especially since the biggest payer to NBA is China. Sorry, but you know its bad When NBA's top player (Lebron) makes sure anyone that criticizes China gets reprimanded or fired -- regardless of their slave labo...

Re: Knicks sign Simi Shittu to a 10-day contract
Which is 4 more points and 3 more rebounds than he averaged vs college players under the "coaching" of Bryce Drew and his brother-in-law aka post-player-coach/investment-banker. Everyone better be happy Bryce actually recruited his butt off and brought in players like Garland, Simi, Saban...

Re: Thoughts about the Season
I'm not saying fire Stackhouse nor saying Drew is the answer..... I have been simply saying he was treated unfairly and not provided a fair and equitable chance to implement his system with his players like other coaches are being provided, especially including Stephanie White who seems off limits f...

Re: Thoughts about the Season
Vanderbilt must hire a really good X/O guy that is a good to great COLLEGE coach that loves recruiting! No more, no less! It is the head coaches responsibility to build a program with either great recruiting or a college system that fits the players. The 4 and 5 out system is great after you stock u...

Re: How about those Antelopes?
Drew wasnt provided a fair and equitable shot at success! Yes, horrendous year with all the bad luck possible but saying he couldnt coach -- is disingenuous -- given the idiot level mismanagement of AD Turner who undermined Drew for reasons I think are obvious. I am pulling for Bryce to win and do w...
