Re: Is there any Chance?

Furthermore, Kobe started winning championships his fourth year in the league and it wasn’t a surprise breakout season.

Re: New Addition

https://vanderbilt.rivals.com/news/vanderbilt-adds-texas-a-m-transfer-jordan-williams I'm not quite sure I understand this addition. I don't see him as a better prospect than West, and we already have Manjon, Lewis and West at the PG position. I'm also not following how he fits from a scholarship s...

Re: Is there any Chance?

The Jackson kid from South Carolina was the #6 ranked h.s. player in the nation? Re-classified and played college ball very young and still is only 18? https://247sports.com/player/gg-jackson-46103379/ What a steal Memphis got in the mid-second round. Averaged 15 & 6 in college while he should ...

I’ll also add that at one time, Beal was the winningest player in school history. Does anyone know if that record still stands?

Re: Stackhouse

OK I'll go first in ranking our top 5 coaches: 1. Skinner 2. Fogler 3. Stackhouse 4. Newton 5. Stallings Anyone else have an opinion? I can’t rank them because I haven’t seen all of those coaches. But stallings still has to be ahead of Stack as of right now. I’m a big Stackhouse supporter but Stall...

Re: Roster Thoughts

My personal pick for a sleeper next year is Paul Lewis. He hit some very big shots down the stretch last season. I really like his confidence and clutch shot making abilities.

Whether we play big or small ball, Smith will probably get the third most minutes on the team. I don’t really like to project players at designated positions.

Don’t engage with the troll. Not trolling. Just speaking facts. The only reason everybody is freaking out is because we lost 10 other players over the years that would have been better had they stayed or we recruited better on our misses. players like tyrin are a dime a dozen 3 years in now with th...

Re: He’s Back!

This is a horrible take. Without Lawrence, we have NIT level talent. With him we should make the tournament. Why would you not want to have someone who helps the team make the touranment? Yah like dude is just tryna negotiate. College is a big bidniz. You know I'm declaring free agency when I'm a f...

Re: He’s Back!

Personally, I hope he goes somewhere else after all this. He's not THAT good. Pretty sure you’re the only one who feels this way on both counts. Certainly the latter point, anyway. Ty is an all-SEC caliber player. Tyrin’s GW against the vols was the shot that turned the season around for us. He mad...

He changed that a couple weeks ago. I’m pretty certain he will return but he’s not officially back as a commodore.

Re: FWIW - Lawrence

If/when Lawrence returns I would say we improved through the portal. We lost some fan favorites in QMB and Jordan Wright but we should get a lot more production in our new bigs. Evan Taylor should certainly shoot the ball better than Stute or Trey this season. Our biggest loss was Liam who ran out o...

Don’t let the high outside shooting percentage fool you, I’ve read he’s also a physical player. This is a great fit for us. Tyrin should be coming back any day now to fill the final spot.

probably slim pickings for a solid transfer portal big who qualifies academically. If Tyrin comes back, i think we are tourney team We continued a very good run even when Liam Robbins went down for the season. At one point QMB was our only big while Dort was out with an injury. We will be fine As l...

Two open roster spots as of right now.
