Re: SEC standings / SECT pairings
one at a time as the old cliche goes. I think this stuff is fun - none of us are playing the game so we can speculate or look ahead all we want with zero impact on what happens on the court. I think if we can manage to grab 5 or 6 wins we for sure will be matched up with a team that we are fighting...

Kudos to Ezra to realize his layup was going to get blocked. Also, Tyrin’s shot was so sweet and will help his confidence for the rest of the season.

Agreed…stack knows what he is doing. Let’s rally around him and stop the nonsense. This team can compete well against highly ranked teams.

Tough love is sometimes the best love. Coach Stack knows what he is doing. The team just needs to buy-in. Stack outcoached Barnes tonight. Better things to come.

Re: What is the ceiling now
I think this is largely dependent on Wednesdays game. IF they pull off an all time upset, they will have all the confidence in the world going down the home stretch. Agreed…all it takes is a win or 2 against ranked teams and it changes the dynamics. Get to .500 and win two games in the conference t...

Very true…not sure we would have been able to recruit Lee or Malik if he stayed.

Poor semantics. Not a planned loss, no one expected the team to beat Alabama coming off a bad loss.

As coach stated post game, he went with the veterans and you see it paid off. Once Jordan comes out of protocol the rotation will be even stronger. You always tighten the rotation at the end of the season. Play your best 8 players.

Re: Vanderbilt-Ole Miss thread
Lawrence was playing well before his sit down .,...... I still have lost respect for Stack for planning the beat down for probable loss game. I doubt Stack actually “planned a beat down.” All of that is being blown out of proportion. Bama would have mopped the floor with nearly any team in the coun...

Still time to turn things around. Upset on of top 25 teams remaining on the schedule and we are having a difficult conversation.

Nashmann,
You have 100 kids on a football team vs 16. You can’t compare the two when it comes to who starts. In fact the team was winning when the walk-on was playing. Everything went to pot when the regular players got in.

Re: I'm about done
I’ve played ball at multiple levels and against NBA players. One player is not going to make a 50 point difference. Alabama has 2 players who will be in the top 20 in the draft this year. As we use to say, “ players must play.” It was an awful shooting night against a team who would have been #1 in ...

The scrutiny and criticism must be balanced. The football coach lost by 50+ 3x this season and I’m not sure he has faced such an outcry…

Re: Honest question
Interesting commentaries. The simple fact is that highly ranked programs excel developing players over the years. Kansas, Purdue, Houston, UCLA, and Gonzaga are led by upperclassmen. It’s rare that freshman contribute unless they are 5 stars like Miller, Amari Bailey, Anthony Black, and Keyonte Geor...

The ball boy is ok and came back out at the end of the game. Major kudos to Lee Dort who held it down in the first half when our bigs got into foul trouble.

The team is going to upset 2-3 top 20 SEC teams. The Mizzu game was an indication that they can compete against to talent. It will just take a few minor tweaks.
