Since this is clearly such a major issue for you, I think it would be worthwhile to use the link Dores137 provided to get an official response. It'd certainly take less time to submit a question there than to ask everyone on this forum. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a summer restriction

Reilly struggled with control and walking batters last year, and is no better so far this season. He's given up 4 walks and 4 hits in 4.2 innings, but has accounted for 6 runs. And poor Sam is a HR-giving machine. 4 HRs in 5.1 IP, and 8 runs allowed. I realize Corbs and Scott Brown want him to work...

Agreed, it's unfortunate but losing Barton would have been a foundation shaking loss.

They have at least two very impressive true freshmen this year and just signed the number six player in the country for next year. Both parents are VU grads, so that helps. I also have it on good authority that London is as solid a person as there is. Unfortunately, they're not VU grads. His dad is a current assistant coach at Vandy (All-American pole vaulter at Auburn) while his mom was an All-American decathlete at South Car...

Signed with the Astros for $50,000. As a 5 star outfielder, you would think either he'd have gotten more or might have come to VU and tried to get an NIL deal. Could probably have done better going that route. Now he gets his 50k and will make $300-600 a week and ride buses all over the country. Oh...
