Omaha or bust for this year (and next). A special season is coming up.

I believe the reference is to...

... Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, although the "paper" is missing unless you want to print a copy for yourself and the url forwards to baseballnews.com.

The same publication named four Vanderbilt players to its 2018 All-American team. Four out of about 115 players, but still impressive. Mason Hickman, Pat DeMarco, Austin Martin and Philip Clarke were honored:

And then the 2018 High School All-American first and second teams consisting of about 140 players:
Vanderbilt signee Kumar Rocker made the list as first team Multi-Position Athlete at RHP/1B/DH

Class of 2019 RHP Michael Doolin is 1st Team, indicating that the team doesn't consist of only HS Seniors.

(I would have thought that more of our signees who did not turn pro would have made HS All-American team. Perfect Game ranked Austin Becker as the no. 31 HS player, John Malcom no. 51 and Ethan Smith no. 55.

We lost nos. 2, 7, 10, 19 and 53 to the pros iirc: https://www.perfectgame.org/College/Col ... ments.aspx
