That Price was 0 and 11 in MLB playoffs before today? Wow

I think that includes no decisions, but yeah...no wins.

Slightly misleading stat - but it is true he had never won a start.

He had two wins in relief, I believe. Still, accurate - he had never won a post-season start.

He had not lost 11 - just never won one out of eleven tries...

He won a "play in" game, and he has some very good performances that he lost pitcher duels. Still, his last several were bad. I'm no BoSox fan, but it was nice to see him excel and get the monkey off his back. He has been the most successful former player and his financial contributions have been tremendous.

While I'll admit that I am for the Brewers in the NL, the thought of a Price/Buehler matchup next week really gets me excited. Not that Corbs needs help recruiting, but that would really put Vandy baseball center stage.

That would be an exciting match-up...I guess I'd have to root for 'whom ever is on the mound' at the time. As competitive as Walker and David are, I bet they would love it, too. The sporting world would certainly take notice, also.

If they match up, I bet the announcers will mention Vanderbilt more than 10 times during the game, that is free ads!
