Leah Macy Makes Official Visit

My absolute favorite recruit from the '25 class. She's just a beast. Throws it in gear at the opening tip and just grinds the whole game. Excellent three-point shooter, but she does great work in the paint both rebounding and scoring. She's 6'2 from Kentucky's Mercy Academy. (Plays summer ball for Kentucky Premier. Vandy also has an offer to Ciara Byars ('25), who also plays for Premier).
Leah made an unofficial visit and got an offer last summer. She seems to like Vandy and has engaged with some of the players on social media. Very happy to see her make an official visit. I feel like we have a good chance at any recruit who we can get here for an official. She has a lot of offers, including Louisville and Kentucky from her home state. Louisville will be hard to beat since she has mentioned attending Cardinal games since she was a little girl. Still, she looks good in that Vandy cowboy hat doesn't she?
