I get it last night because of the rain, but in general I don't know what I think about these 10-run rules. I'm not in favor of running up the score by any means, but I always liked these blowouts as a way of getting the up and coming roster players some innings.

Seems like that opportunity may be lost, and as such, guys may not develop as quickly.

OR, I may be full of it and not know what I'm talking about.

It seems as though this must be decided in advance by the coaches. I don’t recall hearing on the ESPN+ broadcast that the rule was in place.
