Re: Woo hoo! More basketball!
Vanderbilt has sent out an email saying the next game will be at Memorial. Why would that be if Dayton wins?

on the broadcast they mentioned that Dayton's arena is hosting the 1st and 2nd rounds of the NCAA tournament and therefore would be unavailable.egbertsouse wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 9:14 pm Vanderbilt has sent out an email saying the next game will be at Memorial. Why would that be if Dayton wins?

Re: Woo hoo! More basketball!
I think UD arena or whatever they call it now is also being used next weekend for the high school state tourney. There used to be a semi-pro hockey arena in Dayton (Hare Arena or something like that) with a capacity of about 5500 or 6000 (used to have lots of good concerts back in the day) but may have been turned into a flea market or even torn down by now.Jason94 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 9:48 pmon the broadcast they mentioned that Dayton's arena is hosting the 1st and 2nd rounds of the NCAA tournament and therefore would be unavailable.egbertsouse wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 9:14 pm Vanderbilt has sent out an email saying the next game will be at Memorial. But the concerts at the hockey arena in Dayton are a different story for a different day. 8-)

On a lighter note, I see the poster formerly known as "math knapp" has entered the bracket pool.AuricGoldfinger wrote: ↑Wed Mar 16, 2022 12:27 pm Don't people even read my posts anymore? viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20942

Mathknapp vs Jason should be interesting, like Bill James vs Ken Pomeroy.
My advice for brackets is find the teams whose mascot name ends in a vowel.
