VU alum Luke List gets his first PGA victory today and will now play in this year’s Masters, where he can sleep in his own bed (since he now lives in Augusta).
See you at the Masters, Luke.
Congratulations Luke!!

Re: Congratulations Luke!!
Had not realized that he was 37. It takes a lot of moxie and dedication to stay with it and succeed. And winning the playoff hole after so much time waiting for the final group, wow.
well done man

Here is a link to his profile page on the PGA Tour website:

Scroll down to the Latest section. There is a link to his interview immediately after winning the tournament. His young daughter had been asking about winning a trophy. In addition you can watch the news conference after the tournament. Luke talks about some of the changes that have helped improve his game. He also talked about adjusting his shot selection to account for the cooler temperature after the sun had set.
He has been playing well this season, it’s nice to see him get a PGA Tour victory.
On the broadcast, Jim Nantz had mentioned that Snedeker and List were from Vanderbilt. So there was also some good publicity for the Vanderbilt golf program.
