There was also a tarp over part of the infield, so there could be some weather to deal with.

I would be against starting Rocker or Leiter if there is a chance of rain. No need to use up a start of one of those guys if the game could be stopped after a couple of innings. Maybe start a bullpen guy who is used to short stints closer together.

Surprised that the NCAA would let a game start with only 50% of the roster. That would be like a basketball game with 7 players or a football game with 45 players. I believe during football season the NCAA (or was it the SEC) wouldn't allow a game to go on with fewer than 53 players.

Yes, those are the ones he saw on the field, and I heard the broadcast confirm they would only have 13 players available. They chose not to forfeit, which I don't blame them. We just need to be focused and take care of business.
