... the 'Dores would be the no. 1 seed!
A bunch of ties will be broken in the coming weeks, but this is my best guess as to how the SECT would line up if it started this week.
01. Vanderbilt ....... 15- 6!
02. Arkansas ......... 15- 6!
03. Mississippi St. .. 13- 8^
04. LSU .............. 13- 8^
----------------------------- the top 4 teams get a first game Bye
05. Georgia .......... 13- 8^
06. Ole Miss ......... 13- 8^
07. Texas A&M ........ 11- 9
08. Missouri ......... 10-10
09. Auburn ........... 10-11
10. Tennessee ......... 9-12*
11. Florida ........... 9-12*
12. Alabama ........... 5-16+
----------------------------- the bottom 2 teams miss the SECT
13. South Carolina .... 5-16+
14. Kentucky .......... 5-16+
! Vanderbilt holds the head-to-head tiebreaker versus Arkansas, 2-1.
^ Too many tiebreak rules to consider for certainty, but thus far in play among these 4 teams MSU is 4-2 followed by LSU (3-3), Georgia (2-4) and Ole Miss (0-0).
* Tennessee and Florida have not yet played, but UT has the better record versus no. 1 seed Vanderbilt (1-2) compared to Florida (0-3).
+ In the only games among these 3 teams, Alabama is 2-1, SC 1-2 and Kentucky 0-0. This will obviously change.
If the SEC season ended today...
