I'm not impressed by Ned Michaels.
Referring to Drake Fellow and Jayson Bleday. Seems like he had never seen a Vanderbilt game before he got this gig.
And then tonight he asked how many innings must a game go to become official in the case of a rainout.
Did we recruit him from the ranks of cricket announcers?
What happened to Kevin Ingram?

Close. He's a golf announcer. VU alum.Versus75 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2019 7:21 pm I'm not impressed by Ned Michaels.

Ingram's working at the OVC basketball tourney. Good semi going on between Belmont and Austin Peay right now.

Max Herz
On an unrelated note, how nice is it to have Max Herz doing play-by-play until Joe finishes with basketball? Throwing no shade to EJ at all, but he always seemed really happy when Joe was able to come back full time.

Max Herz has been terrific. Really knowledgeable, entertaining, and can fill up the frequent dead moments of a ball game with anecdotes, stats, and trivia. Hard to call games that long with no color analyst.
Ned Michaels, on the other hand...
