Re: Sneds
That 62 is the lowest round in the tourney so far, and it is the 2nd lowest round in Brandt's career.
He moved up 71 spots to be alone in 6th place, 3 shots off the lead. Impressive showing!

Re: Sneds
Pretty erratic day for Brandt with 3 birdies and 3 bogeys to fall to a tie for 7th place. What's worse is that he is now 8 shots off the lead. Still, he could really use a top 10 finish.
At least he has already qualified for the US Open next week because of his top 10 finish last year at the Open.

Re: Sneds
Brandt's 70 on Saturday knocked him out of contention for the win, but today's 64 (tied for 2nd best score of the day) moved him all the way up to a tie for 3rd and earned him his biggest payday of the year at $423,400.
It also moved him up 26 places in the FedEx Cup standings to #84. He needed this success badly.

Glad you pointed that out. He missed the last two years there, so it will be good to see him back. While he hasn't played this particular course as a pro, he did play it a few times as an amateur.

Re: Sneds
It would seem to be a natural for him most years. The potential for high winds and crappy weather would suit him perfectly. This year could be good, too, because this isn't necessarily a bombers course.
