Can someone explain how tenn tech #11 Creighton #12 can be rated that high?

Tech is 25-5 and 14-1 in the OVC. They beat us last year in a mid-week game. They haven't really played anyone but they appear solid. We'll face them on May 8 at Hawkins.

I think Tech leads the nation in hitting, hits, home runs and is at or near the top in a few other categories. Their pitching doesn't seem very good, but they pound the ball

Where are you seeing this? The only site that I see that has a SOS component is this one, and while Tech and Creighton are high on "iterative strength" due to their records, their SOS is quite low.

TTU is ranked 25th by NCAA.... having had a son pitch for Tech last year and a son signed to pitch at VU next year..... May 8th will be interesting for me... TTU can and will hit.... they are older and will likely face a VU weekday younger pitcher.... advantage TTU...
