Not real sure how to say this, except it never ends with UT fans.
My UT-obsessed office mate went off on the NCAA today over the sanctions. But not complaining about them, other than that they were pointless. That stripping scholarships means nothing. They (UT) would simply go ahead and recruit whoever they wanted, and if there wasn't a "scholarship" available from the university, they would make it up in NIL money.
So the NCAA is pointless. And then there is this story:

Tennessee's AG threatened legal action against the NCAA if it imposed a post season ban. I'm glad the State's Attorney General has so little to do he can get involved in such important matters of state affairs.

Re: UT
I had seen this from SDS previously, but didn’t bother posting here. It sheds a little more light on why the AG believes there is legal merit to threaten suit. Of course, I agree with the sentiment that he should have more important things to tend to.

Re: UT
A slightly different perspective: would rather have the AG spending his time with the UT debacle than screwing up everything while attempting to do his actual job.UltimateVUFan wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2023 8:08 am I had seen this from SDS previously, but didn’t bother posting here.
