Tennessean's "Dandy Dozen" for 2023 includes one Vandy commit

Post by BrentVU »

Here's the Tennessean's list of the Top 12 high school players in the Nashville area for the Class of 2024... and the schools to which they are currently committed, with early signing day five months away.

Tennessean: Meet the 2023 Dandy Dozen, Nashville area's top college football recruits for Class of 2024

Kaleb Beasley, Lipscomb Academy CB - Tennessee
Mason Curtis, Ensworth LB - Michigan
Ondre Evans, CPA CB - LSU
Crews Law, CPA LB - North Carolina (brother of VU baseball catcher Cade Law, who is transferring to UNC)
Luke Masterson, FRA OT - North Carolina
Ronan O'Connell, Page OT - Clemson
John Wayne Oliver, CPA OL - Ole Miss
Jesse Perry, MTCS OL - Tennessee
Glenn Seabrooks, Davidson Academy OL/DL - Vanderbilt
Edwin Spillman, Lipscomb Academy, LB - deciding soon between a Top Two of Tennessee and Ohio State
Jaylen Thompson, Riverdale CB - Michigan State
Hank Weber, Brentwood Academy, DE - Wisconsin

Vanderbilt recruited a lot of these guys aggressively, but right now Seabrooks looks to be the only one in the #EarnItEvery24 class.

P.S. Interesting that there are no QBs, RBs, or WRs on this list.

Nobody from powerhouses Oakland or MBA?

The Maynard kid from Stewarts Creek that picked Pitt over Michigan, Duke, Vandy, VaTech, Ole Miss, etc....not on the list?

I really question that list.

The Tennessean today issued a list of five prospects that "just missed" their Dandy Dozen... and it includes Vandy commit Jaren Sensabaugh, the cornerback prospect from Ensworth. Sensabaugh is a transfer who played at Knoxville Catholic last year and was injured for most of the season.

(by George Robinson)

Also, Vandy commit WR Markeis (Boski) Barrett of Knoxville-Webb made a list of the Knoxville News-Sentinel's top Knoxville-area prospects, although I don't have a subscription to that one.
