Gotta say I find myself checking this transfer stuff (in and out) in a similar manner to monitoring a coaching change. The soap opera context is very alluring.
Additionally, the notion of a portal congers up aspects of si-fi, sorcery and the movie series the Matrix. All adding to the drama.
Strange times (for us old guys anyway) indeed.
More importantly, anyone hearing any good rumors?

Re: Transfers and the Portal
Wait! There's a kid from the fifth dimension coming through the portal right now! They say his shot is out of this world and when he takes it to the hole he really soars through the air with his anti-gravity tennis shoes...
Re: Transfers and the Portal
Out of the 5th dimension? How does he have any eligibility left? They were mature when I was in college 50 years ago.

Re: Transfers and the Portal
Transfers out are done, but we can still sign unsigned people in the portal. Remember, Ansong signed just before the Europe trip.

Re: Transfers and the Portal
I didn’t want to start a jinx by saying anything, but when Shelby portalled I thought Lee Dort would be right behind him.
We haven’t gotten a new BIG man yet, so this could be Dort’s time to shine. He has great potential — scorin inside, rebounding, blocking shots — once he learns to cut down on fouls (offensive and defensive).
We will have fewer technical fouls with Stute gone.
