Re: Alabama #1
2 missed opportunities for EBjr to be on second when Diaz got the base hit. We might miss that run before this night is over

Re: Alabama #1
Prior to this year Bulger has been clearly better. This year he has regressed. Espinal has gotten better. IMO it’s a tossup. Neither should be batting 4th.
Re: Alabama #1
Bulger. More consistent hitter. Espy is very streaky, but maybe you ride his hot stick until it cools off. Espy really struggles to hit breaking balls. Defensively I don't think one is clearly better than the other, though both are competent. Of course, I could be wrong.

Re: Alabama #1
I think Bulger is the better hitter. I think Espy is the better catcher and has a higher ceiling.
Espy does need to learn to hit offspeed stuff. With that said, Bulger is having a bit of a tough night.

Re: Alabama #1
Again, leadoff hitters all swinging for fences and constantly out.
I wish our leadoff guys would focus on contact and extending pitch count. You can’t hit a leadoff two run homer…

Our team is playing like their coach is the one who has been fired.

Tough night. While Vandy has hit some balls hard, they've mostly been caught. Otherwise, Vandy looks lethargic, like they're just going through the motions. Not the first time this year.

Re: Alabama #1
Bad game: not concentrating. Can't afford to lose this series. This game is gone the way we are playing so next 2 are must wins.

Re: Alabama #1
I guess nobody told Bama that losing their coach just prior to the game is supposed to be a distraction.
Re: Alabama #1
Corbs will have the boys ready tomorrow, the defense will be better. The concern is postseason play where a lethargic...errrra....sh@tty game can end your season. This team has too many of these kind of games.
