Leaving in the middle of the season is just bush league. If I were a coach, that would be a red flag. But nowadays there's not much common sense in coaching to build a program. It's always just this "season" and always a land grab. Agree with Commodore, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

But the important thing, with all that is happening in the world, is that it is "God's Plan" that he walk away from the Vanderbilt baseball team in the middle of the season to play football somewhere else.
Oh my. The ego.

He was redshirting, exams are almost over, so his season is basically completed and would be going home anyway after this week.historybill wrote: ↑Fri Apr 28, 2023 6:09 pm But the important thing, with all that is happening in the world, is that it is "God's Plan" that he walk away from the Vanderbilt baseball team in the middle of the season to play football somewhere else.

Re: Redshirt catcher Cade Law is transferring
Why didn't "God" tell him to go play college football when he was a senior in high school?
Was it because most of the football offers were mid-major or FCS? Was "God" advising him based on the offer list on 247 sports?
BethAnne Rhozhaski NEVER used religion as an excuse/rationalization to change schools.

I wish the kid all the best. I'm 50+ and still change my mind on things. Go for it young man and do what you feel is best for your future.
