Asst Adam Mazarei expected to leave the program
Looks like he may be headed to Cal to join new coach Mark Madsen:

Re: Asst Adam Mazarei expected to leave the program
I will point out he is originally from California and attended college in the state, albeit in southern California.AuricGoldfinger wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 9:07 am Looks like he may be headed to Cal to join new coach Mark Madsen:

Re: Asst Adam Mazarei expected to leave the program
Would he be under consideration for HC if Stack leaves for the Pistons. Given the timing etc to start a coaching search in this time frame could really be problematic.

Which is a good indication that Stack is not leaving Vanderbilt.
Stackhouse is one of 7 men on a list suggested by The Athletic … which does not mean more options are out there.
And you guys assume Jerry is leaving. Just put it on Hold!

Re: Asst Adam Mazarei expected to leave the program
I asked if it was safe to assume he was leaving. There has been nothing indicating he’s leaving other than a lot of surprising departures from the program. Adam leaving is bigger than any player that has left the team.

He has not given us any indication that he is staying and with all the noise, he should make a firm statement on the subject. There’s no reason for him not to say, if he is coming back, while not saying anything is detrimental to the program in every way.

A verbal confirmation that he’s staying would help. A lot of coaches say they’re staying and then jump ship a week later. His silence on the matter is of concern.
Re: Asst Adam Mazarei expected to leave the program
Could be using the open opportunity as additional for a contract extension/raise as well, which I can't fault him for. Hopefully the situation is resolved soon, but if he has to remain silent/coy for a few weeks for a better contract, I get it.Ndorefin wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 1:15 pm Versus75 wrote:
