TV for this weekend ...

Post by Versus75 »

... in Minneapolis is supposed to be BIG10 Network.

I don't have that specific channel, but when I searched "stream Big10 Network" I found out that it is now part of FOX Sports.

If you don't have Big10 Network, try the Fox Sports app or website and find the games. I've already watched some Big 10 basketball in that manner.

Right now, the BTN shows women's basketball. Fox sports 1 shows Fresno State v New Mexico basketball. Fox Sports 2 shows NASCAR.
Unfortunately I will be in South Alabama for a family thing, and have no way to set the timer for this.

I’m not saying that BTN is also on FS1 or FS2, but that the BTN is on the Fox Sports app.

Get the Fox Sports app
Log in with your cable or satellite provider
Check the Live Sports options

As I write this at 12:05 am EST the choices include:

Fresno State BBall
NASCAR Xfinity
The BIG Show (Big10)
Italian Serie B soccer
Punto Final

Directv Stream (formerly AT&T streaming) has 3 or 4 channels of BigTen Network.

I switched from Hulu when that stream got the monopoly on Preds/Grizzlies around here.

The baseball games this weekend will only be shown on the BTN+ streaming service (similar to SEC Network+)--NOT the Big Ten Network, not Fox, not FS1, not FS2. You can sign up for $14.95/month here: https://www.bigtenplus.com/en-int/playerpage/1584911.

Thanks for the correction, Auric.

Makes sense that Nebraska Baseball would not take precedence over the Big10 Women’s Basketball Tournament.

Question: If you have the SEC network on your tv package, you get SEC+. If you have BTN on your package, do you get BTN+????

No, unfortunately. It requires a separate subscription and unlike SEC+, is not associated with a television provider. (It is direct to consumer.)

I am going to the games in Minneapolis this weekend. If the games are difficult to find on TV, I would be more than happy to give updates on this forum. Just let me know if there is interest or not, I'm easy.

Hi Levon, I think it is safe to say there is always interest. Even if I can’t watch or listen live, I’ll come back to this board and read your posts to see how the game played out. You’re everybody’s hero on here dude!

Levon,

OF COURSE there is interest. I don’t believe I’d share the part about being easy, though,
