This guys change up is throwing us off and he's doing it consistently in counts where he's behind. We need to sit on the change.
True dat. However, he's losing control, 73 pitches already in the 4th. Kudos to the plate umpire, he has consistently called the outside fastball a ball, unlike far too many college umps who call anything close a strike.
Turned on the SEC network to see what was on. Gymnastics. Then wondering, I looked up to see how many scholarships they have for gym and for volleyball. They each are allowed 12 scholarships. Baseball, however, gets a whopping 11.7.

Is it just me, or does the ball seem to be taking funny hops on the infield? There have been several ground balls that looked to bounce erratically. Even a couple soft line drives seemed to have drifted on the fielders. Weird.
I sat behind home among the scouts at the Texas game in Arlington. I overheard one of them say to another, "He [Austin] is going to be a really good player for them. And he's a really good kid." About the only thing positive that I heard any of them say. Mostly they talked about where to eat between games. BBQ won out.
