Those oblique (rib cage) injuries are nasty - if they don't heal up 100% they can nag on and on and on. I hope not, but it wouldn't surprise me if he is done. It is my understanding that he didn't play summer ball or participate in the fall practices -- if that is true I would guess he didn't participate because he was injured and Vandy wanted him healthy and ready to go for the season. Injured again, it doesn't look like that is the way things are working out. With what we all hope would be a promising pro career in his future the risk of injury these next couple of months might be too great. I HOPE I AM WRONG and I don't have much to back up my thoughts . . . just a gut feeling.
