Dansby Swanson has wrist surgery
Former Vanderbilt shortstop Dansby Swanson, who just finished his third season with the Atlanta Braves, recently underwent wrist surgery per MLB.com’s Mark Bowman on his Twitter account.
The procedure, Bowman tweeted, was to “remove a loose body.” Swanson, 24, is expected to be fully recovered in time for spring training.
Swanson hit .238 this past season with 59 RBIs and 14 home runs.
