He demonstrated his velocity playing for the U.S. team at the Futures Game, where he retired both World batters he faced and hit 96.8 mph on the radar gun."
"Over his last seven starts, the 22-year-old right-hander owns a 2.33 ERA with 48 strikeouts in 46 1/3 innings -- 13 of which came in a June 26 outing against Jacksonville."

I’m guessing it’s also our Pedro Alvarez and Phillip Pfeifer mentioned in the article?

Yes. I hope Pedro gets called back up to the O's. His AAA numbers are pretty decent. Pfeifer seems to be waffling between AA and AAA. Yaz was also in that game with Norfolk. He seems to be stuck in AA-AAA purgatory as well.
