Good grief. So much for sundays games against ole miss getting our offense rolling. The inability to make contact in key situations is far and away our biggest weakness.

We had guys on 2nd and 3rd in the 8th and got nothing. Gonzo strikes out to end the inning. 1-1 going to the bottom of the inning. We had another review at first base. The call was overturned in our favor. Third call by the 1st base ump that has been overturned tonight. Was he last night's ump at home plate? That guy totally changed his calling style in the 9th inning. If he had called that way the entire game we might have won.

If we can't beat Missouri 2 out of 3, we might as well stay home. Good grief. Can't hit. Can't bring in a pitcher that can get a key out...or any out in King's case, and simply don't deserve to win playing like this. I have to go all the way back to the mid Mewborn years to see this level of incompetency. Yeah, I know we have a bunch of freshmen and they likely, with next years frosh may be wonderful, but RIGHT NOW, it sucks to watch this team.
