Re: 0-4
The other side of the coin is that almost all our losses have been very close games. No one has really taken us to the woodshed. Corbin is smart. He knows this team is good enough to get to the NCAA and probably host. But he also knows to be successful in the NCAA he'll need to know who he can depend on when the going gets tough and people get hurt or can't play for some reason (see VU in 2014 CWS). He's using these midweek games to not only develop young talent, but also to get an idea who will be reliable down the road. He would rather learn that now than have to roll the dice later.

Re: 0-4
We are now 4-2 against the RPI top 50 (Sam Houston, 34; Duke, 41), 2-1 against the next 50 (Long Beach, 61), 3-1 against 101-150 (Louisiana, 128), and 3-1 against 151-297 (Eastern Kentucky, 204). Seems we concentrate more against the top folks and play down to our competition against the others. Still have some good wins, but those losses to Long Beach, Sam Houston, Eastern Kentucky, and Louisiana really hurt.

Re: 0-4
RPI is useless at this point of the year before conference play. The big wins will count more than small losses, especially those like EKY where we clearly had a "staff"game. Now it is about winning weeknd series. We really need Raby to get on track. Kyle Wright started slowly and never hit full stride last year.
