4 LH and 1 SH vs the lefty Friday/Sunday starters for Duke
Paul and Bleday are likely to be regulars most of the season. The other lefties projected for the opener (Clarke and Scott) will have to produce to stay in the lineup. At catcher, however, the alternatives to Clarke are lefty Ty Duvall, switcher Tyler Solomon and lefty Stephen Scott. Defensive prowess may be the key to playing time.
