Re: Vandy A&M game 1
I have no idea what team our friend "Roger Waters" is really a fan of (if any) but he was right that we are going to have a hard time taking a series the rest of the way. Much of what he has said this season is turning out to be correct. Unfortunately. Good ole Roger. Who doesn't love a f...

Re: Stats
Yea we've been beating up on some bad teams out of conference. Inflating our stats. Is there any obvious place to go to see SEC conference only baseball stats by team? To easily compare our conference stats to the rest of the league? (tangent rant... For all the money the SEC brings in, their sec sp...

Re: Shakeup in Batting Order Needed
Any comments? Your lineup doesn't seem that much different than what we rolled out on sunday aside from moving Vaz way up in the lineup. With the way he is hitting in SEC play, not sure if that'd be a great idea. Looking at the stats in the below link, Vaz, Casas, and Bulger have really struggled i...

It's college. Help isn't on the way. Either the guys we have need to develop more or you gotta hope next year's recruiting class is full of guys that can rake.

Re: A few thoughts - not quite from the ledge..
We didn't lose much from last years offense though. Was trying to find the conference stats from last year but I seem to recall even in conference play we were statistically one of the better offenses in the league. At least in the top half. But something weird happened during the postseason last ye...

Only 1-0 but doesn't feel like we can come back. Offense needs to get it going.

Re: Tournament Team
2. Refs decided this game. No call on the three by Chatman (debatable) + then deciding not to whistle the shot clock and the impending lay up and technical, very well could have decided that game. We were in a good rhythm at that time, and that took all of the wind out of the team with essentially ...

Read that you don't have to be 500 or better anymore to qualify. Which we are probably a lock to do as UGA is terrible. But was surprised as I hadn't hear they did away with that requirement. Anyways at this point, considering the strength of the SEC, part of me would be surprised if we didnt make i...

I’m also trying to be objective when I point out that you are pretty much the only person I have seen post anything on the boards related to the comments he made that supposedly “alienated many potential supporters.” Personally, in my fully subjective opinion, I think he has been a fine representat...

Re: Former OL Tyler Steen being heavily pursued by Alabama, others
Certainly he owes us nothing and I wish him no ill. However his father states in the article : “The first thing he is looking for is academics. I graduated from Pepperdine, and my wife, who is an attorney, graduated from Berkeley. He wants to go to a good MBA program. He also is looking for a great...

The mention of Bryce Drew definitely brings out some interesting takes on this board. I'm not sure why we can't simultaneously acknowledge that his time here ended in disaster while also admitting that he has had a good bit of success at his other two head coaching spots. Took over Valpo that had be...

Re: Stackhouse can coach
Well clearly he wanted to leave last year but the NBA didn't value him as high as he hoped. Unless something has changed where he really wants to finish a particular degree or his desire to stay at Vandy overrides a pro career, I'm assuming he'll likely look to leave again. And it'll just depend aga...

Re: Pumped for this season
Meant to respond to this on Friday when the opening lineups were announced. My expectations for the year are probably a little lower. It might just be the bitter taste lingering in my mouth after last year where our offense went ice cold in the playoffs and especially in Omaha. But when I saw the op...

Re: Best 20 point loss I've ever seen
Hadn't thought to look to see how Disu was doing once he bailed. Sounds like he missed the first 10 or so games as he worked back from injury. And that the Longhorns were going to ease him back in. Not sure if his minutes have gone up in the last month or if he is continuing to be a part time role p...

Re: Covid policy for games
I wear my mask to enter Memorial but then just about everyone takes the mask off immediately. Have not seen anyone hassled. They don't check the vax card/pic carefully; definitely do not look for booster shot info. It would be nice, though, for someone to answer the phone or reply to your e-mail. C...

Covid policy for games
Hey everyone, trying to clarify what the covid policy is. Saw on the website it says fully vaccinated or negative test. Anyone know how the school is defining fully vaccinated? Is a booster needed? Headed to the game on saturday with a few folks with varying levels of vaccination and told them I'd t...
