Re: Keonte Kennedy Reportedly Going To Memphis
Probably easier said than done but we probably need to recruit more kids that might want to come here even if they didn't play basketball. It's gonna be hard for us to have any consistent level of success in this current environment. If they're just here for basketball why would they stick around? E...

Re: NBA draft is tonight
NBA has the highest average salary per player of any of the pro sports. And I'm not sure it is even close. Having the smallest rosters probably helps that.

Re: Who's coming and who's going?
I don’t know the covid rules either but I’m assuming the seniors are leaving. Keegan for sure as I’m guessing he really helped his draft status this year. Have to think Spencer Jones is a goner. I think he made himself a bunch of money this year. Unless pro teams are scared of his propensity to swin...

Re: Vanderbilt-OSU Final Game of Regional thread
Hindsight is 20 20 but Corbin will likely regret not pulling Reilly earlier. In an elimination game you gotta be quick to pull the trigger when a guy doesn't have it. And this isnt the first time we've said this about Corbin. One thing to let a guy work through a jam in the regular season but not do...

Re: tonight
All things considering we are in a pretty good spot. We've gotten long starts in all four games thankfully. As others have said would expect to see Reilly and Cunningham as well as Little who kept his pitch count low on friday. As far as Oregon St, their best pitcher by statistics is some guy named ...

Re: If there is a silver lining behind that Loser's Bracket cloud ...
I think the odds are more likely that we don't face Oregon St at all.

Re: San Diego
Have to win 4 in a row without Holton. Based on our pitching depth and how inconsistent our hitting has been that seems just about impossible. I joked on another thread that we may not even play oregon st and that seems much more likely.
Tough year.
Tough year.

Re: So, what ails us?
Forgot Holton. Like I said, too many guys didn’t step up. Like I said, if the same thing happens next year bleak. Of course, I hope not, but we most of the consistent hitters, jones, Keegan, vaz. Yea there is definitely reason to be concerned going into next year. There were a number of people on t...

Just ignore the troll. If no one responses after awhile they get bored and leave. Dude has been trolling all year. Not sure why anyone gives him attention.

Re: Brackets
Looking at the stats, San Diego can hit. Weaker conference of course but seems like a number of guys can swing the bat. With the way we played last two weeks we may not even see Oregon st.

Re: LSU #3
Ignore pinkie. Douche. Troll who fly bys when you aren't playing well to tell you "I told you so." Provides no interesting or intelligent inside insight. Half this board talked about the lack of returning talent relying on a lot of guys improving. The easy non conference schedule masked so...

Re: SEC to talk about scheduling changes at spring meetings
That is exactly what would happen if you played in the proposed pod system. Year 1: Pod A plays: all of Pod B (2 home, 2 away) and 1/2 of Pod C (1 home and 1 away) Year 2: Pod A plays: all of Pod B (2 home, 2 away) and 1/2 of Pod C (1 home and 1 away) Year 3: Pod A plays: all of Pod D (2 home, 2 aw...

Re: SEC to talk about scheduling changes at spring meetings
Seems like they have a few objectives with one of them being to have the teams rotate through the schedule more quickly. I've heard various versions of the 4 team pods, but if you set it up where you'd always play the other 3 teams in your own everyone from another with then one each from the other ...

Re: SEC to talk about scheduling changes at spring meetings
Agree that the 4X4 model makes a lot of sense for a 16 team conference. I suspect, however, that we'll fall into a pod with UT, 'Bama and Auburn. Would be a big ask to have to play the Tide every year in football... While I'd happily accede to Mr C's parings, we gotta admit we have little in common...

For as negative as conference play has felt, kind of crazy that we have won more conference series than we've lost. 5-4 as it stands now.

Re: Now that the roster seems to be set
This is probably a dumb question but who exactly is on our roster for next year? Reading through the board, the below is my best guess but who knows with all these transfers and extra years of eligibility. Returning: Robbins, QMB, Stute, Wright, I'm sure some bench guys that rarely played Transfers:...

Re: UGA game 1
Feels like we're usually good for one big offensive outburst in a series. Important for us to win the game when it happens. Well within the realm of possibility we don't get 10 hits the rest of the weekend.
