Re: SEC to talk about scheduling changes at spring meetings
Seems like they have a few objectives with one of them being to have the teams rotate through the schedule more quickly. I've heard various versions of the 4 team pods, but if you set it up where you'd always play the other 3 teams in your own everyone from another with then one each from the other...

Re: SEC to talk about scheduling changes at spring meetings
My thought was that with 16 teams, you go to 4 pods (North, South, East and West; or whatever name strikes your fancy). This would work if you wanted to keep an 8 game SEC schedule (and would play every team home and home over 8 years) or if they wanted to expand to 9 games (4 home, 4 away and 1 neu...

Re: LSU to require vaccination or negative PCR test to attend games
It is really sad that basic medical facts about a disease are now "political." I think he was kidding. Unfortunately not. The legitimacy of federal, state and local governments' making medical decisions for the people (accompanied by underlying disagreements among doctors regarding the ef...

I know, geez! It's like just one experiment where you deliberately let a bunch of black people go insane and die horribly from a disease you could easily have treated, and these people act like you can't be trusted or something. The difference is that Bubba and his Bill Gates nanobots theory are to...

an OLD black woman sat down to get her shot. She had been brought in by her granddaughter. Just as they were about to poke her, she said in a feeble voice, "you aren't going to give me the syphilis are you?" She was serious as a heart attack. Her granddaughter broke out laughing and said ...

Man, I hope you feel better now. That was a lot! But you're by and large right. I'm thankful for those that are taking the time with their family members to educate them and take them to get vaccinated. I'm black and I spent a lot of time talking to my mom about it and telling her why she needed to...

Re: Sports Illustrated gets the story right
It’s amazing that three teams prior had to drop out of NCAA tournaments due to Covid protocol and there’s no thought process of “let’s get everyone vaccinated to prevent this” It’s a shame. Those NC State kids were playing their hearts out and deserved to be there and (probably) playing for the cham...

Since I have some time today… 1) all Vandy merchandise has been picked over. No hats available. I have talked with some of the vendors this morning and they said Vandy fans bought everything the first weekend. Most popular team the first weekend as stated by multiple vendors. ->leads me to t...

Re: NC state covid issues
Were any of their players actually sick as in showing symptoms? Or did they just get a couple positive tests? I'm assuming they were doing the rapid covid tests as opposed to the PCRs. The PCRs are dialed up so sensitively that they give too many false positives. But dont think the rapids have the ...

Everything breaking Vandy’s way
Unfortunate that we advance due to forfeit - NC State is a heck of a team - and we definitely caught a break with the No Contest. Add in to that Texas and Miss State will play again on Saturday means we should have a pitching advantage going into the World Series. I just don’t understand how all of ...

OK, thanks! I don't really recall that being an issue for our teams in the past.
