Re: Going to take me a while to get over this

Re: ESPN tried it's best to make a QB controversy with Saban

I am no fan of ESPN but their reporter asked a legitimate question and Saban behaved like an absolute jerk. I hear he called her to apologize later, which was the correct move. Their reporter asked the question after the game, after ESPN had played the idea all day, all through the game. I'm certai...

First, the guy ignored what he was told to do. He struck the guard with his car. A felonious assault is generally defined as an attack or threat of an attack on another individual in which the attacker uses a dangerous weapon and seeks to cause serious harm, but stops short of an attempt to kill the...

Re: I am as sober as I can be when I bring this wacky thing up

In Tennessee I had a couple of my students in a public school play basketball for a Community Christian school. A major point was that the Xi'an school was not a member of TSSAA.

Watching Malzhan and wishing I had made a list of "coach speak" cliches, he has hit all of them and made some others.

Your used to be quite a pain in the a55 on the coffee forum at one time even though not as much recently. Don't forget that so fast. The concept of something to r...

Re: 1st NFL Game I saw in person was at Vandy

My first NFL game was a preseason in the fall of 1957 at the Akron Rubber Bowl between The Browns and The Steelers. Each had a rookie QB from the same high school, Johnny Borton and Len Dawson. Borton was with the Browns and Dawson with the Steelers. I was in the band from that high school which may...
